During The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, Chris Eriksen can come across an e-mail on his fathers computer detailing accounts of 'unruly teenage freight-hoppers' in the area. A handful of reused Star Trek plots with a couple original ones, all wasted on a crew of dimwitted characters that are either smirking or not in on the joke. Prior to the release of Episode 3, there were several hints that Life is Strange 2 would involve teenage freight hoppers. Unlike real episodic Star Trek where the crew reacted to threats as real each time, with occasional light hearted moments, the crew of the USS Enterprise act like a bunch of moronic pyscopaths that feel more like cartoon characters about to get hit with the giant mallet for the 100th time. The crew is constantly acting quirky and excited, with tongue in cheek 'oh no! Not again!' approaches to the episodic dangers they consistently run into.
